Description
Innovation in Design
Kitchen
The kitchen is adjoined by a large dining area then leads out to the large Alfresco at the rear of the home bringing the outdoors in. Outdoor living is utilized throughout the year for both parents and kids with room for both and space for the BBQ.
Privacy
3 bedrooms and a private area for the kids in front wing of the home allows privacy for the different age groups with separating walls reduce noise within the home.
Parents Retreat
The main bedroom parents retreat is separated by the expansive open living from the rest of the home. It features a walk in robe, double size shower and seperate vanity in the ensuite.
Study Nook
In designing the Utopia, Family living is the key vision throughout the design process. With every family now owning a computer and security concerns for children on the internet, the study nook was designed into the home. This was placed in a position that could be easily accessible and close to all living areas of the home. An open entry without doors and a large feature opening in the entry hall wall allow for easily viewing by the parents of what the kids are viewing on the net.
Energy Efficiency
Is an important part of the design and increased R value insulation is used along with adequate shading over walls and living areas. Good cross flow ventilation is achieved as well as excellent thermal properties to reduce running costs during the hotter months. Top of the range Daikin Inverter Air Conditioning is used for its efficiency and low long term maintenance costs.
